In 2014, during the time of the UN’s Climate Summit, more than half a million people took to the streets from Manhattan to Melbourne, to address climate change. By end of day estimates, the flagship march in New York City drew approximately 400,000 people. As two women of color, were interested in talking to other people of color who attended the march about why they are affected by issues of economic justice and racism in our society and why these issues affect climate change. This series along with others I have worked on, was produced pro-bono to contribute to the video documentation, education and archive of revolutions and protests around the world.
